Today is Aug 2nd. 5 Months and 8 days post op. My starting weight was 288 lbs and i am currently 210 lbs. Dr. Almanza and the staff were amazing. Everybody was so nice and friendly. The only thing i regret is not getting to experience and hangout in the Mexico city lol. My surgery was the same day as arrival. The first week is the worst as far as nausia and gas pains go. After that it was all pretty smooth for me. Honestly i havent exercised at all since surgery but iactually plan to start during the week. The more weight you loose, the slower the weight starts to come off. If you are thinking about this surgery you have no reason to be afraid, you are in great hands. Yeah i miss being able to eat as much but i dont miss the 80 lbs of fat that ive lost since surgery lol.
