I am 2 years post op after having the gastric sleeve and I can't say enough about it. I am 5'4 and went in weighing 218. I currently weigh 150. I am ecstatic. The hospital was not what I had expected but definitely served its purpose. The hotel was fantastic and the staff incredible. Immediately following the surgery, I was moved to a recovery room with another woman. We were both in quite a bit of pain. That lasted about 2 days. After that it was smooth sailing. I would recommend this to anyone wishing to move on with their live as a thinner person. If anyone would like to talk to me directly about my experience, don't hesitate to email me. I am currently thinking about retuning to see Dr. Almanza for a tummy tuck and arm lift if I can ever afford it. I currently don't have any pictures to share by will post when I am able.
