I had the gastric sleeve in March of 2016. There were a couple of issues, my drain did disconnect on the first day, but it did not effect the outcome. The leak test was fine. I am a teacher and returned to teaching in 5 days. Yes, 5 days. I felt no pain whatsoever. Since March of 2016 I have lost 192 pounds. Yes, I said 192 pounds. It has been great. I highly recommend Dr. Almanza to anyone and am currently trying to convince a co-worker to go have the procedure done. Honestly, the hospital was cleaner than any I have seen in the USA. The staff were very courteous and the hotel was nice. Everything went just as explained by weight loss agents. I am considering a skin removal through them now as I do have plenty of extra skin since the surgery was such a success. There will be people who say it is dangerous to go to Mexico. But, it is not. Use common sense. Take the plunge!!-Derrick
