Overall, I feel so fortunate to have had the gastric sleeve surgery.It was a very safe experience. I was skeptical about going by myself (at age 22) without any of my family knowing about my surgery.The nurses were all so nice and kind!I only met Dr.Alamanza for about 10 mins, but he was polite. So far, I went from 240 to 190 (5'7) in less than 3 months. I plan to lose another 40lbs , but i'm SO happy with my result at this point.
