For years I have been trying to get my weight down. I have know for years what I wanted to do. Here in the states the insurance would not cover my procedure. I had diabetes and was miserable with this big gut in front of me. When I got to the hospital I was happy to see the infamous Dr Almanza and take pics with him. I saw the cardiologist and he cleared me for my surgery. The waiting seemed like forever but I would wait as long as it took for me to have a proper surgery. I remember Dr Lopez the anesthesiologist telling me that I was going to sleep they had to give me extra anesthesia because I would not go out. I remember waking up in the chair and then again in the bed I was to stay in for the night. I did not like the hospital stay too much because I was right next to the nurses station and it was very noisy. I did manage to get some sleep. The nurses were awesome. The hotel room stay was way beyond our expectations. I loved the care I received from the nurses there. The room was clean and the staff was so courteous. Now I'm 20 lbs down from my previous weight and I have so much more energy and I want to do so much. Unfortunately I have to wait another three weeks before I can start dancing again. (my dream) Oh but when that time comes be assured I will be the first one on the dance floor. Thank you Dr Almanza for giving me my life back.
