Having this surgery was best decision ever! ... I have to admit that because of my age (50'ish), it took me longer to recuperate. The first month after the surgery was difficult. I had such low energy that there were many times when I felt like I was going to faint. However, after 3 months, I am feeling great! I've lost 58 pounds; I'm feeling energetic and revitalized. I'm really, really, happy I had the surgery. I would recommend it highly. .... Additional note: It's now been 7 months since my surgery. I've lost 88 pounds and I'm still losing!
