When I first started thinking about the gastric sleeve surgery there were many times I asked myself if it was necessary and the more research I done the more my mind told me yes.when you think about it how many times have we tried diets and trying to cut back on how much food we put in our body's,I found having a busy life style and working late the first thing we reach for is junk food or so called confort food.you have to ask yourself is health more important or feeling good for a short time while you eat junk and putting your health at risk.i was only 220lb at five foot eleven and of coarse for men showing my weight on my belly, even when I went for my surgery people that were there for the same thing I was said you don,t need the surgery but over weight is over weight and my doctor told me when I go for regular checks that my blood pressure was high, cholesterol was high even feeling well I was at broader line diabetic so yes I had to do something about it.after my surgery I asked myself if this is what I really wanted to do but after I started my journey and many days I questioned myself I could see results and by three months in I was down to 180lb but a little down trying to adjust to my new stomach, not been able to sit down and eat the foods I loved but after five months in I started to eat a little more solid foods and adding more seafoods.now I am at six months holding my weight at 168lb ,feeling really good.in closing I like to say that if you want to have this surgery I am sure you will ask yourself a million times should I take the chance but go for it,and with a positive out look, because when you have it done you will see how much food you actually consumed and how much you should eat and still function in this crazy world of junk food god bless and feel good about yourself.
