I'm not one that is eloquent with words ... I normally don't write reviews or do much writing at all, However, it is very important to me to express how worthwhile this decision was to me and how it has saved my life from a family home setting and a physical length of life prospective. If I had to make the decision all over again to travel to a destination and feel out of my element and feel all those anxieties of if I was doing the right or wrong thing for my family and I, my answer would be a definite and emphatic YES!!! The experience was not nearly as bad as what I had in my head, the staff was excellent, they were friendly and helpful the doctor was really kind and I was impressed with his personality and demeanor. I'm not going to lie, yes, it is hard and yes, it's a very very important decision and no, I didn't have any complications with any part of the surgery or healing process, even if I had a harder recovery or a more slower weight loss or even a complication i would still gladly do the whole process over again. I have my mental understanding of the reason that i was as big as i was is due to my issues with eating and food and that type of thinking could not remain for this to change my life, no it's not a "magic pill" that is going to do all the work for me and take away all my wanting to eat everything in sight but it is a very powerful tool that has helped me change things in my life. Everytime I pick something up off the floor without falling over or being able to stoop down to tie my shoe or even get out of my car those are powerful accomplishments that keep me remembering how far I have come. So is it worth it?? A definite YES!! :)
