I had been over weight to some degree my entire life. When I was a child I was just a little "puffy," About 5 lbs of extra weight. The problem was I was a ballet dancer and that 5 lbs mise well have been 100 lbs. Our family was healthy eaters, but we ate large portions and consumed desserts and sweets by the case lot as well.

As a teenager I became more active, continued with dancing and added team sports. Using more energy I also took in more calories. This led me to be "chunky." About 10 - 15 lbs of extra weight.

I married as a young adult, 19 years of age and gave birth to my child at the age of 22. During my pregnacy I gained 120 lbs. I simply went to being VERY LARGE. Over the next 20 years I lost some of the weight and quickly gained it back. I tried every fad diet, every medical diet and work hard on changing my life style on to find myself at a whopping 270 lbs.

I finally decided something had to change. Knowing I wanted to lose the weight and yet wanted results quick and pemanent. That is when I started to scour the internet looking for surgical options.

From the van ride from the US airport, to the welcome at the clinic, through the consultation process, during the intake, pre-surgery, post-op, and recovery house stay the service and care was out standing.

The clinic was clean, the administration staff was friendly and helpful, The Doctors were polite, careful to explain everything that was going to transpire and the nurses at the recovery house were attentative and patient.

I would recommend the Jerusalem Hospital to ANYONE seriously wanting to shed the weight forever.

It is 8 months after my surgery and I have lost 85 lbs and have gone from a size 30 to a size 16. I would like to lose at least another 30lbs and I am aiming for another 45 - 50 lbs.

Once I have reached my goal weight I will be returning for cosmetic procedures to complete my personal and successful weight loss journey.
