As a teenager I became more active, continued with dancing and added team sports. Using more energy I also took in more calories. This led me to be "chunky." About 10 - 15 lbs of extra weight.
I married as a young adult, 19 years of age and gave birth to my child at the age of 22. During my pregnacy I gained 120 lbs. I simply went to being VERY LARGE. Over the next 20 years I lost some of the weight and quickly gained it back. From the van ride from the US airport, to the welcome at the clinic, through the consultation process, during the intake, pre-surgery, post-op, and recovery house stay the service and care was out standing.
The clinic was clean, the administration staff was friendly and helpful, The Doctors were polite, careful to explain everything that was going to transpire and the nurses at the recovery house were attentative and patient.

It is 8 months after my surgery and I have lost 85 lbs and have gone from a size 30 to a size 16. I would like to lose at least another 30lbs and I am aiming for another 45 - 50 lbs.
Once I have reached my goal weight I will be returning for cosmetic procedures to complete my personal and successful weight loss journey.
