I had the gastric sleeve in Tijuana Mexico 11/20/18. My mom, uncle, and I arrived 11/19/18 to the hospital. Overall the nurses, doctors and staff were very accommodating and attentive. My family did not have to stay at the hotel, they were invited to stay at the hospital with me in a two bed hospital room which my mom felt good about since she could take care of me. After surgery my mom stayed with me in a private room. It was really a blessing because I suffered from nausea. Since the hospital did not have a cafeteria, they provided coffee to my mom daily and the drivers took my family to purchase food daily which they were thrilled about. My recovery went well so I was allowed to check out a day early so I could stay in San Diego and be closer to the airport. The long flight back home was hard on me but I made it. Dr. Almanza demonstrated personable manners, friendly, and was concerned about me. I made the right choice! I'll up load additional photos after 30 days after surgery.
