I was initially scheduled for surgery on 4/8/2021. I flew to San Diego on 4/7/2021. Picked up by the shuttle, taken for COVID test and then to the hospital. Once I had completed the pre-op process I was taken to my room. The after care Dr. came in and gave me the option of having my surgery that evening which I decided to do considering I hadn't had anything to drink since leaving the airport at 1pm. I also knew I wouldn't get much sleep that night. Other than the normal aches of pain after surgery things went very smoothly. I am honestly very pleased with the staff and the Doctors that provide care. Dr. Almanza was amazing. I am almost 5 weeks post-op and do not regret my decision to have this surgery. Yes, certain things in my life have changed, but they needed to. This is a tool and I am using it as such. My only wish would be to be 3 months down the road. Thank you so much Dr. Almanza and team.
