The facility is well laid out and very clean. The staff truly cares about the well being of the patients and will take the time to answer any questions or concerns one might have. Once the surgery was completed I woke up in the recovery room and was taken to my room for the night. I was able to get a half decent night sleep. The next morning I was taken to the hotel where a nurse was waiting for the group. We checked into our rooms. I brought a guest with me so I had a personal room with my wife. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous! It was a 4 or 5 star hotel, not what you would think a hotel in Tijuana would look like. It just was this oasis in the middle of town. I could not ask for anything more from the hotel staff or the onsite nurse. The broth you have access to is delicious. Anytime you need anything you just call the nurse and they will come directly to your room to assist.
The hardest part about the whole trip was the trip home from San Diego. We did not make it home until 3am the next day.
