My surgery was a success. I had no complications. I would recommend bringing someone along with you. I didn't, luckily a nice lady I met there had her daughter with her and she helped us both. Since I was nervous I wasn't really paying attention to what I needed to be doing. I have lost 80 lbs in the year since my surgery. I remember the day after I felt crappy like, "what did I do" but that was the only time feeling like that. After my surgery I went into the recovery room, the next day they gave me a frozen treat. My stomach didn't tolerate the cold very well, but I was the only one like that. I hated the leak test and threw up the purple stuff they have you swallow, again I was the only one that did. Other than that, no complications. Surgery was a success and I would recommend Dr. Almanza for the surgery. It was worth it.
