Then I had my sleeve surgery. I had wanted to have a bypass for years, but couldn't afford it. Insurance wouldn't help and I tried every diet ever invented.
Then I read about the the sleeve. I liked that they wouldn't reroute my digestive system and it looked like if I could afford it, this would be my preference.

I was concerned about traveling to Mexico for surgery, but after making the trip I know those fears were unwarranted. I had a great experience.
I was 100% At ease when I entered the operating room and really had very little pain. I was surprised, because I've had other surgeries like my gallbladder removal and I experienced much, much more pain from that.
You have to get used to very small quantities of food and beverages, plus you can't do both at t he same time, but it's worth it.
And if you're like me you'll eat too much and throw up a few times. While I don't like throwing up, once you've done it you're back to feeling fine. By this stage of my post surgery I no longer throw up. I've learned my limits.
Before surgery I was pre-diabetic, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and weighed in at 323. I couldnt even tell my husband how much i weighed. I was so embarrassed. Today i weighed in at 211. And non of those conditions still exists! Im down 112 pounds, went from a size 26 to a 16 and I'm still losing!
I am so thankful I did this for me. I should've done it years ago, but I jyst didn't know how I could ever afford it. Weight Loss Agent gave me a new life. Thank you!
