This Adventure started with a friend telling me about the Gastric Sleeve surgery.
At first I was not sure about something like That to loose weight. I felt like I can
do that on my own!! So for a year I did every type of diet I had done well at before
and with all I lost weight be as like always it came back and even more!! I was depressed and felt defeated. Then one day another friend came to see me and she had lost so much weight and looked great!! I asked wht she had done to lose the weight and she
told me about Weight Loss Agents. It took a few more months before I contacted them
for information.
I started to do my research on them and the surgery and over and over there was good
reviews and happy people. So one day I decided to book the date and that was a big day!!
I was going to go out of the country to have a surgery. My friend that had gone a year
before was my strength and helped me to stay on track and go for it!!
I started the pre diet and stayed busy to keep my mind off my fear that was over
whelming at times. As I went to the airport my fiance was very supportive and encraged
me. Off I went. When I got to San Diego I had a short wait and the van was there
to pick a group of us up. The driver was very nice and helpful. The van was full
and no one was talking for awhile. We were all a bit scared and on our way to Mexico.
I have spent a lot of time in Mexico so I was comfortable with Mexico's different
environment. We went straight to the hospital and went upstairs to a meeting room and
the Doctor was having a meeting about the procedure we were going to have and do all of our tests we needed for pre surgery. I was impressed with the hospital, the staff, the Doctor and even the meeting room. Yes it is different from the states but very nice and comfortable. After the meeting we were brought to our hospital room to get settled and then the staff started preparing us for surgery. They were very gentle and helpful.
The room was nice and comfortable with a large bathroom.
The next thing I know I am on my way to change my life for ever!! They took me to a
pre opp room and I waited for my turn. The next thing I know I am being woken up
and in a wheelchair and on my way to my bed. I slept for a few more hours and when
I fully woke I felt good and the only discomfort was my incisions. The next day we went
to the hotel just around the corner from hospital. It was very nice and over all comfortable. We were in a nice part of TJ. That day we walked to the mall and shopped
for a little bit. Our nurse was there when we needed them and they were in to check and change our dressing. The following day a few of us jumped into a cab and went around
shopping and even stopped at the mall again.
over all feeling good and having a pretty good time even though I was 2 days post
op. When I got home I just followed the doctors weekly food plan and went back to work
the following week. I am close of 5 weeks post op and down about 20lbs.!! There is an adjustment but it over all is not that hard. Dieting is harder!! I had a good overall
experience and came through everything very easy. There is a few things I would have
brought with me and that is 1. Pepsid AC for heart burn 2. pillow 3. Ibuprofen
night time.
I would recommend the Weight Loss Agents to help you with your life changing
Adventure!! I look forward to my new life!!
