I am 8 weeks post op and 37lbs total lost. I thought I would lose more by now but I am happy with the progress. I really would suggest to only do this with LOTS of research and preparedness for a HUGE life change. At first I regreted this choose I was not ready. Now with adjusting my eating I am glad I did it. I still mourn not being able to eat a whole slice of pizza or burger but it's worth it. This IS NOT an easy way out to lose weight. I look forward to losing more and being healthy, grateful I got to have this done and go to such a great doctor, he really is good at what he does and I didn't have any issues post op.
