I was tired of being fat. I was tired of my knees hurting. I was tired of shopping at Avenue, Lane Bryant and Catherine's. I have dieted over the years and like everybody else lost and gained, lost and gained over and over. I never thought about surgery because I thought it was only for rich people or something white women did. After learning my neighbor had the surgery I began talking to other friends and found out that lots of women have had weight loss surgery either in Mexico or the Dominican Republic. Within a month I made my decision to have it done.

The Weight Loss Agents have been wonderful. They took care of all the details except the flight. They kept in constant contact as the process progressed. That in itself made me feel relaxed and bolstered my confidence in the agents. I followed their instructions to the letter and have had no problems from the surgery. I have also called them repeatedly after the surgery asking questions about what I can eat and if how I feel is normal and they have been patient and answered all questions.

It is imperative for the patient to understand that this is a life changing surgery. You are fat for a reason: emotional overeating with mindless food shoveling. Be realistic about what you should change and do it.

In my first month I lost 25 pounds and that was with no exercise. I began my exercise routine after a month to give my body a chance to heal completely.

I am extremely pleased with my experience and results.
