I was sceptical about goung to Mexico alone for my surgery. I expressed my concerns to WLA and backed out of the deal. WLA arranged for me to speak with a previous patient from my state, I was pleasantly pleased and once again booked my appointment and my flight... I was all in, but still skeptical!! Although, I was told prior to flying to San Diego that the bus would wait for me just call. I arrived at 3:07 pm as I told WLA my arrival time but of course the bus had just left (they said). I waited a total of 1.5 hours to be picked up...bummer... The person who I contacted said she would call me right back to give me a update about my pick-up. She never called, I called back and she informed me she had gotten backed up because she was working with one other person. I later found out that there was not enough room for me on the first bus because so many people had come.

Once I arrived in Mexico !!! Fun times began, the Hospital and the Hotel was very clean. The staff at both places was very hospitable and friendly. I was instantly relaxed and was happy about my decision. Dr. Almanza, was nice and took time with us individually even though he had many patients to see. My only flaw was that I was in beautiful Mexico with authentic delicacies.. Boo Hoo... I will be back, Slim, Trim and Healthy...I will feast upon my return (a little) lol.. My surgery was EXCELLENT !!!.. I ended up getting sick on my departure at the airport. I was so sick that I finally went to the Emergency Room in the States. I had bad chest and neck pain. I told the ER about my sleeve in Mexico and it seemed as if I had three times as many Doctors and Nurses checking on me.. They all said I had Excellent work done for my sleeve and my sutures look very, very good !! Great work !! Ironically one of the nurses worked in the Bariatric Dept. of the hospital...

I was on top of the world and loving me some Dr. Almanza for his Expectional work (big smile). I was tested for any and everything being that I had surgery and was on a long flight, they had to make sure I didn't have a blood clot.... As it turned out, NO BlOOD CLOTS, I was dehydrated and malnourished. I was also taken off my Anti-biotics, they felt as if that was causing my problem being that I was lacking nutrition in my body.

I stay hydrated, drink my protein shakes and thanks to Dr. Almanza and WLA, I am on my way to GREATNESS !!! Yes, I am happy and really recommend all to take the plunge to beautiful MEXICO !
