Having been on the yoyo dieting circuit for 20+ years, this was a wish, come true. I initially thought about a gastric balloon, but after researching the gastric sleeve,it seemed a better option for me. The entire procedure, from travel to Tiajuana to pre-op prep, to surgery, to post-op recovery in hospital, now at home could not have gone better. I've lost 40# and am getting used to eating slower, taking small bites, and chewing thoroughly. I've increased my walking to about 6 miles daily. I am an RN and returned to work 10 days after surgery, retired yesterday!
