Fear, you have to overcome it and just do what is right for you. Get over it, More woman do this procedure than men, the woman seem to have less fear. Don't worry about what other people think, do it for yourself. I had a lot of nay sayers, why Mexico, blah blah blah. Guess what, they are still heavy!

The coordinators, medical staff hotel staff and Dr. Almanza are all fantastic. They show concern, empathy and are inspirational. I started at 365lbs and now I am at 240 lbs. I must say it feels good, new attitude, new life, new activities. It's great.

I'm at the point now, where I eat pretty much anything, but I fill up fast, so I just don't eat much. And guess what, the energy level is still there. Do what they say, avoid the sugars, avoid the carbs, and you will be all right.

The only thing I didn't like was at the end, there is an upsell for extra's such as medicine and an awfully scary looking B12 shot. Just consider before you buy that stuff, it's a personal decision. (I still have that B12 shot, what a long needle!)

What I did post surgery was get those tight socks, went out and bought me Vitamin B12 pills. Got foot massages (20 bucks for 1 hour) one per week, for about a month.
I signed up for those runs that everyone seems to be doing. Sign up, it sets a target and keeps you exercising. I just finished a 10K run (6 miles) averaging a 10 minute mile.

Oh yeah, and scoring improves.
