About 13 years ago I was able to lose 65 pounds in a little over a year on weight watchers. After several years of keeping it off it started to gradually creep back on. Every day I became more and more discouraged with my self and hated myself more and more with every pound added. After I reached the age of 40 it became increasingly harder to maintain the 2 hr workouts needed to keep the weight off and the harder I tried to stay away from food the more I wanted it.
Finally I found out about the gastric sleeve and thought this might be the answer for me. The people at weightlossagents.com helped me though all the scheduling and planning and explaining what to expect ect. Everything went like clock work! I chose to go by myself and I felt safe the entire time. I had just stepped off the plane in San Diego and my phone rang. It was the shuttle making sure I made it ok. They picked me up took us over the border straight to the clinic for blood work and an EKG. The hotel where we stayed was VERY nice!! The next morning they picked us up and my surgery was done that morning. The first day I am not going to lie, I was in a ton of pain but everyone else seemed to be handeling the pain much better than I was. But everyone was so acomodating and nice and there on a dime to help me.
I have lost 18 pounds since my surgery. My starting weight was 210 but I don't count the first 10 pounds because that was weight that I put on after I scheduled my surgery & just let myself go and I lost it during the 3 day pre-op diet. So actual starting weight was 200... Today I am 182. I have had no problems at all... No heart burn, no throwing up, no dumping... Nothing! I feel great! I had my surgery on a monday and I was back to work the following Monday.
I recommend this surgery to anyone that is sick and tired of the battle and just wants to feel like a sane person again... I also recommend Jerusalem hospital and Dr. Almanza and the entire staff. They are great! And you can not beat the price!
