Okay, here is exactly how it went down.. My medical insurance would not pay for my surgery even though I was a was a very good candidate. So, I had to find other means to get this done by my self as God helps those that helps themselves! I searched around the world for Bariatric surgery specials and opportunities and I was on the verge of going to India when I stumbled across weight loss agents and the outfit in Mexico. I was very dubious and scared and did a lot of investigation on the Internet and my fear were escalated even further with the bad publicity of Dr. Almanza and patients dying at the borders and all that stuff. But I plucked up a little courage and called weight loss agents and I was very, very lucky to talk to a live agent that was kind, a good listener and who knows what and how to handle skeptics like me. I felt a little better about this call and did further research on my own. Each day I felt slightly better about Dr. Almanza. I saw the videos that the news reported and decided that everything they said is/was not true. Well, to cut a long story short, I eventually decided to have it done in Mexico. I did not tell my family until everything was confirmed. I was so nervous! I had my surgery on June 6th 2016. The accommodation was great! The transport was efficient and excellent. The staff were fantastic and so respectful. I give this whole experience a 4 out 5 star rating. I had absolutely no issues and there were about 7 of us in total that had the surgery on the same day. We still have a private group and keep in close contact with each other. I know the feeling ... Go with your instincts and Pray that God is on your side. The week I was there, I heard of no complications with any of the patients and there were plenty. My experience was a good one and hope and pray yours will be just as good or better! I have a picture I took a picture with my favorite nurse.. I will post that picture here. Oh!... Before I forget: I've lost a total of 65 lbs in 3 months and I feel on top of the world!! GOOD LUCK:)
