The idea of gastric surgery was mentioned to me a few years ago; however, I was not even close to considering the idea. It seemed that I should be able to lose whatever weight I wanted just by proper diet and exercise. We have all struggle with this balance. As time passed I lost the same 15 lbs several times. Frustrating!

I gathered some great information but the biggest component was learning my insurance would not cover this surgery a surgery that would have almost immediate health benefits! He was so right! Not every day has been easy, but no day has been unbearable, and every day has been better than the day before. I am excited that I took a leap of faith and sought out Dr. Almanza for this life-changing procedure. He and his staff have been supportive every single step of the way, and I would do it all over again. I trust him implicitly and am thankful for his passion and expertise in this field.

I highly recommend Dr. Almanza and his professional and sweet staff to anyone who is considering gastric surgery.
