After a year of reading testimonials, I went and had it done. My nurse friend had told me about some of her nurse friends that had it done. Well I thought, why not. I was afraid about medical tourism yet I was desperate and with a tight budget. Its been almost 2 years and my weight loss has came to a stop. I am happy at 150. That's 80 pounds down from where I was at 230. I could loose more if I ate better and exercised but...... I was not so good at that,thus the surgery!! I still can't believe that I feel so much better. I didn't realize how much my weight actually held me back. Don't wait is all I can say. Dr. Almanza does about 90 surgeries a week I think. So if your Leary about going to mexico for surgery ask your self, do I want a doctor that does this surgery 90 times a week or a doctor in the US that does maybe 90 a year. It just makes sense. I want the more experienced Dr.!!! The hospital is more like a clinic and yes it seems very much like your in a group of cattle getting ready for some thing lol! But the Dr. Is awesome and his staff is fabulous! As far as issues. I have had absolutely NONE ! I only went to my family Dr. To have my blood work checked. All is good. I did what I was told after surgery and had no problems. I had nausea for a while, but pain wise I only took one pain pill on the trip home. I do have loose skin, but its better than fat skin. My life has changed for the better for sure. If you are thinking about doing this just do it. You won't regret it!
