My biggest fear when considering the surgery was my recovery time . I was back to work a week later, and even though I'm still a little weak and tired I am very pleased with how I've been recovering over all. You will hear this time and time again and I can't express how true this is... It will get better it will get easier just be patient.
I wouldn't trade the surgery for the world I am beyond excited I'm 5'8 with a starting weight of 195. I realize that my weight is significantly low compared to some of the patients, however I did this surgery as a preventative because of the obese history in my family. I still do want to lose 50 pounds but I wanted to prevent myself from gaining weight and having a high risk of heart disease and diabetes like most of my family has. For those of you that are similar in size it's worth it. Xoxo
