I am a type 2 diabetic that was taking insulin, Metforman,and high blood pressure pills along with blood thinners. The day after my operation I had one injection of insulin and have not taken anything since. I lost 60 lbs. and my blood pressure is between 110 and 120. I am now on a excersise program and my AIC are never over 7. I haven't given a testimonial before because I wanted to be sure before I recommended this procedure that it was as effective as I hoped. Dr.Almanza and his staff were great. If I had known I would have gotten it done sooner. I believe that it gave me a new lease on life. I can't say that it cures diabetes as I am not a doctor but to me it sure looks like it! I would like to thank Dr.Almanza and his staff for everything. My wife and I both got the operation at the same time and she too has had great results. Some of our friends have seen our result and have also taken the plunge.(all of them have had great results as well and are happy that they had it done.)

I had struggled with my diabetes and high blood pressure for over 20 years and no matter how hard I worked I wasn't able to loose the weight and get my blood pressure as good as it is now.
