I am 51 years of age and had reached the point in my life that my joints ached from all the weight I was carrying. My heaviest weight was 351 pounds. I have had 1 knee replaced. I made the decision to have the surgery after some friends told me about their success. I am a Deputy Sheriff and due to the extra weight felt like I could be a safety and health hazard to my fellow officers, my family and to myself.

I had the surgery on 09/25/17. I was treated very well by the Doctors and their staff. The hotel is very nice and the nurses there do a great job! It has been 4 weeks since the surgery and I am down to 306 pounds. I am very happy with my progress and look forward to what I can accomplish!!
