My BMI was such that I needed help to get the excess weight off. My surgery was 9 weeks ago. I am "walking out" through this process knowing that it is a long journey and that I must keep encouraging myself, "work the program", and stay in touch with others that have been through this or are going through it now. Dr. Almanza, his staff, and the hotel associated with Weight Loss Agents took excellent care of me. The truth is, I fell in love with the people and country. It was the best vacation I've ever had, in spite of losing one organ and a major amount of another! At this point, I have lost around 40 pounds . . . I walk daily, get as much liquid and protein in as I can, and try to keep at 600-800 calories. It's not a quick easy fix, but a life changing and mind changing way to live. I am thankful I took this step and grateful to Dr. Almanza and his staff.
