I had my Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy on 12/8/2016, and it was a GREAT experience. My wife and I were welcomed in and the pre-surgery screening started. I was scheduled to have my surgery on Friday, 12/9, but they asked us if anyone wanted to volunteer to have their procedure that afternoon as Friday as going to be very busy. YES PLEASE! My hand went up immediately. The procedure lasted about 45 minutes, and my wife said that I was gone for a total of around 2 hours, including prep and recovery. The pain was about a 5-6 out of 10 (so not bad at all). We had some follow up x-rays and regular visits from the nursing assistants to give us OTC pain meds and anti-biotics.

On the day of my surgery I weighed 246 pounds. Today I weight 158 pounds, and I owe it all to my wife and to Weight Loss Agents!
