I had this surgery the first time Thanksgiving 2012. I lost 70 lbs but found myself gaining it back. By the time I gained back 25 lbs, I decided to come back for a revision. I wasn't able to eat the way I used to before the first surgery but I gained weight based on the foods I chose to eat. I thought that because I couldn't eat a lot anymore, I could eat whatever type of food I wanted to I began to enjoy nonfilling food like Cheetos, wine, candy, sweets,. I didn't think I needed to bother counting calories since my stomach was significantly smaller but I did gain weight. I was surprised at how quickly the weight began to pile on. I went to being 154 to 180 lbs very quickly. I am not going to have this surgery a 3rd time. I am going to take this weight off and keep it off this time.
