It has been 28 days since I had the gastric sleeve procedure. Things really could not have gone any better with me! I've lost 25 pounds now, and though adjusting to types of food and amounts of food my new stomach will tolerate has been a trial and error process, if you follow the guidelines they give you it is not too hard to accomplish! Yes, I have had some major adjustments in my life but not having my life COMPLETELY REVOLVING around food has actually been a blessing. I have been sleeping better at night, and am not so tired and groggy at the end of the day like I used to be. The only thing I can think of is... Why didn't I get this done sooner? It has been and will continue to be one of the best decisions I have made in my life and for my health. Many of my friends who were skeptics before are now jealous of my progress. What is holding you back?
